The McLean Hilton & Towers-

McLean, Virginia:

 

Mr. Meacham served as SOM's Associate Partner and Design Lead for this hospitality project for WestGroup.

 

The 450 key Hilton hotel features a hexagonal atrium space crowned by a large hexagonal skylight and serving as the center of the "pinwheel" plan configuration.  Exposed shaftless elevators which help animate the atrium lobby space.

 

The hotel also provides a large ballroom and meeting/conference facilities to serve the McLean community.
